The Reichen & Bard Journey
Our Philosophy
At Reichen & Bard, we believe that creativity is a way to slow down and reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the simple pleasure of making something by hand.
Through our handmade Miyuki jewelry and our creative beading workshops in Lausanne, we invite people to rediscover moments of calm, focus, and balance. Bead by bead, each gesture becomes part of a quiet and rewarding process of making and sharing.
Our Workshops
Our workshops offer a welcome pause from screens and the fast pace of everyday life. In small, relaxed groups, participants learn traditional Miyuki bead-weaving techniques while enjoying the gentle, almost meditative rhythm of working with their hands.
These creative sessions are open to adults, teenagers, and children who would like to experience the pleasure of slow, mindful making and leave with a unique piece they created themselves.
Our Story
Reichen & Bard was founded by Johanna Reichen and Virginia Bard, who share a passion for creativity, craftsmanship, and the quiet focus that comes from working with your hands.
Inspired by Japanese bead weaving traditions and mindful making, we design jewellery and workshops that invite people to slow down and reconnect with creativity.
Our pieces are made with Miyuki beads, known for their precision and beauty, allowing us to create detailed patterns and colourful designs.
Through workshops and jewellery collections, we hope to create moments of creativity, calm, and connection.

Create with purpose. Wear with meaning. Live with calm.
